Suffield budget passes; commission's master-plan request not approved

Peter Leclerc reported that the town budget passed and that the commission's budget requests were approved with one exception: funding for a parks master plan was not approved. Leclerc said staff were advised to resubmit a request for a master plan in next year's budget process.
Leclerc reviewed the items the commission had requested for the current budget and noted that, besides the master-plan denial, staff would receive the other approved items. The commission did not take additional action at the meeting beyond noting the outcome and planning to request the master plan again next year.
