A presenter from Fremont City Schools, speaking from the district office, told families the district will use the summer months to plan and prepare for the 2026–27 school year and reminded the community that routine services are handled at the district office.
The presenter said the district office houses the finance department and district treasurer, the superintendent's office, student services, curriculum, facilities and operations, child nutrition, technology, communications, human resources and student registration. Families are instructed to come to the office for new-family registration, student work permits and to attend various district meetings.
The message noted that last night's board of education meeting closed out the school year and that June, July and August are a time for reflection and planning. "The summer months provide us time to reflect on what went well and determine what to do next as we continue to improve our strategies, actions, and communications," the presenter said.
The presenter said the full board meeting is available on the district's website and on the district's YouTube channel. The recording is offered as a resource for families who could not attend.
Until next time, the presenter closed the message with brief farewell remarks.
