Summary
The commission reported it has sought a town attorney opinion on using Stoney Brook Park for a dog park and will collect additional quotes for fencing, equipment and well work; a well quote is contingent on subsurface conditions.

Economic Development Specialist Chad Kuzontkoski told the commission he has consulted the town attorney about the potential use of Stoney Brook Park for a dog park and will provide the attorney’s opinion to the commission when received.
Kuzontkoski presented an expense spreadsheet and said staff will obtain additional quotes for fencing and equipment. Commissioner Roger Murray reported he obtained a quote from a well installer but cautioned the final price will depend on conditions encountered during drilling.
Why it matters: The item is a site‑planning and cost‑development step that could move the dog‑park concept toward implementation if legal and budget questions are resolved. Further cost detail and the attorney opinion were not provided at the meeting.
