Commission members Erin Flynn, Tatiana Levone, Robin Tomechko and Debbie Schreiber will continue bi‑weekly planning calls; Meg Deem, the county coordinator, will research one‑day event insurance. Commissioners discussed anticipated costs for cleaning, signage and a possible booklet for sponsors, and identified potential local partners to approach for in‑kind support, citing examples such as Shop‑Rite, Cracker Barrel and Lean Kitchen.
Tatiana Levone asked commissioners to provide at least five organizations in their districts that serve women — resource partners could include health and wellness providers, parks and recreation, transportation services and women‑owned businesses. The fair is being planned as an inclusive outreach event intended to connect women across demographics with county and nonprofit resources.
The planning group’s next call is May 8; the commission will review the event plan and sponsorship strategy at upcoming meetings.
