City Administrator Christina provided several operational updates: early voting is open through Nov. 4 and residents may vote in person at Bel try County’s administration building on the second floor for early voting. Christina said City Hall is assisting residents who need voter registration information and will serve as a point of assistance for township residents who lack staffed township halls.
On procurement and finance, Christina said the city has received only one response to the audit‑services RFP so far and noted that a single‑audit requirement tied to USDA funds caused this year’s auditing costs to exceed the audit budget by "almost seven" (thousand dollars), requiring budgetary shuffles for FY25. She said staff will review proposals and return with recommendations once the RFP closes.
Christina also listed upcoming meetings and events, including planning commission and work‑session dates and a county public meeting on the Belamy (Bel try) County opioid settlement.
