Staff summarized the consent items after the council's approval vote. The items included: the claims roster; the annual performance review for Finance Director Anna Wobbsy; the hiring of Ryan Christiansen as a new public works employee; the appointment of Bob Beeneck as a lieutenant on the Hugo Fire Department; acceptance of the resignation of planning commissioner Mike Kelly; amendments to a T‑Mobile lease on the north water tower for communications equipment; agreements related to railroad grade crossings at 130th and 140th Street including an easement for a trail crossing; a replacement quote awarded to Kraft Contracting and Mechanical for City Hall HVAC equipment; a purchase agreement for a vacant parcel on 145th Street North; approval of a site plan and interim use permit request for a solar farm at 7776 157th Street North; a lawful gambling exempt permit for a Ducks Unlimited event on Jan. 23; and a Fire Department apparatus bay painting project.
Council approved the bundle of items by motion and voice vote. Staff said each approved item will be processed according to standard administrative procedures and that affected parties will be notified where appropriate.
