The Holstein City Council unanimously adopted Resolution No. 25-45 on July 29, approving plans, specifications, form of contract and the estimate of cost for the Wastewater System Improvements Project.
Mayor Kathy Breyfogle opened the special meeting at 5:00 p.m., led the pledge of allegiance and recorded a roll call showing Councilmembers Jamison Voss, Bonnie Stevenson, Terri Schimmer and Marcus Prell present; Councilmember Christine Wiese was absent.
The council opened a public hearing on the proposed plans, specifications, form of contract and estimate of cost for the Wastewater System Improvements Project at 5:00 p.m.; no residents or taxpayers offered objections or spoke in favor, and the hearing was closed at 5:01 p.m.
Councilperson Marcus Prell offered Resolution No. 25-45, described as "Finally Approving and confirming plans, specifications, form of contract, and estimate of cost for the Wastewater System Improvement Project." Councilperson Terri Schimmer seconded the motion. A roll-call vote recorded Ayes from Jamison Voss, Marcus Prell, Terri Schimmer and Bonnie Stevenson; there were no Nays and Councilperson Christine Wiese was absent. Mayor Breyfogle declared the resolution adopted.
After the resolution vote, Councilperson Marcus Prell moved to adjourn; Councilperson Bonnie Stevenson seconded. The council voted in favor (Stevenson, Schimmer, Prell and Voss); there were no Nays and Wiese remained absent. The meeting adjourned at 5:15 p.m. The minutes are attested by Tamara Nuckolls, City Administrator.
