Council asked Clerk Connie Helms to solicit quotes from Pate Asphalt and Gee Asphalt to determine whether the work can be completed in 2026 at a lower cost.
The council approved bills for the period totaling $201,716.47 (detailed line items were provided in the agenda packet), and Finance Director Connie Helms reported May 2026 revenues of $320,007.52 and expenditures of $409,454.12; the minutes include fund-level balances and detailed vendor line items.
