East Rockhill Township officials said the recently completed playset at Willard H. Markey Centennial Park reflects changes recommended by the Park and Recreation Committee and approved by the Board of Supervisors.
Township Manager Marianne Hart Morano told committee members the Park & Recreation-recommended changes were incorporated into the final playset and that installation has been completed. She invited members to visit the park after the Aug. 13 meeting to view the updated playground.
Ms. Morano also noted that previous community events organized by East Rockhill had not drawn strong attendance and were discontinued; she said neighboring municipalities, including Perkasie Borough, continue to offer community events. No public comment was recorded at the meeting.
The committee adjourned at 7:09 p.m.
