The Pennridge Regional Police Commission presented investigative awards to Officers Rosenfeld and Windfelder and Detective Dean for their work that contributed to the conviction of the Robertson parents in a child abuse case from early 2024.
The commission also approved a consent agenda that included the July 24 meeting minutes, the Aug. 28 financial report and payment of bills totaling $84,324.93, along with the July 2024 Chief's Report. On a motion by Commissioner Jay Keyser, seconded by Commissioner Gary Volovnik, the consent agenda was approved with no additional discussion; the minutes record the vote as unanimous among those present.
Commissioner Keyser used a later public-comment style acknowledgement to thank the Public Safety Committee, singling out Marianne Morano for assistance with the budget and for providing hard copies to commissioners. The meeting was then adjourned into executive session on a motion by Dave Nyman, seconded by Hal Schirmer; the meeting ended at 5:20 p.m.
