TECCA reports Special Education grants approved; Title I approvals still pending

Gale Clark, a TECCA member, reported to the Board Financial Subcommittee on Nov. 17 that Special Education grants for TECCA have been approved. She said Title I grant awards were still pending at the time of the meeting.
Cathleen Ellis participated in the update and reiterated the current status: Special Education grants approved; Title I pending. The subcommittee did not vote on grants at this meeting and asked staff to continue monitoring award confirmations and report back when additional documentation is available.
The grants discussion was brief and procedural; the committee’s next meeting is scheduled for Jan. 5, 2026.
