TECCA outlines rebranding, signs new lease for Foxborough building and pursues program amendments

Lattuca said consultants Zozimus and STV and counsel Murphy, Hesse, Toomey & Lehane are assisting with the transition; TECCA’s new building lease for 300 Foxborough Blvd was signed on Jan. 14, 2026, and Chair Dr. Jean Kenney described the space as more accessible and operationally suitable for the district. "She commended Dr. Lattuca for his work bringing in Zozimus and STV firms that have expertise and will assist with the building and name change transitions," the board record states.
Lattuca also reviewed DESE materials in the packet related to a name-change approval request and two DESE amendment requests: one to include Innovative Pathways programming in TECCA’s Material Terms of Certificate and another for a STEAM bus. He told the board TECCA did not receive the STEAM bus grant funding and will explore other funding options. The Innovative Pathways request remains subject to DESE approval; if approved, TECCA seeks to formalize the programming in its certificate materials.
No formal vote was taken on the name change or the DESE amendment requests during the meeting; the items were provided in the packet and discussed as information items. The board will track DESE responses and potential funding options for the STEAM bus as staff pursue next steps.
