Cathleen (C.) Ellis, TECCA’s finance lead, presented unaudited financial statements as of June 30, 2025 and told the board the district had an unaudited surplus of approximately $1,000,000. Ellis highlighted bank balances, current assets, grants receivable, fixed assets, a lease agreement with TEC, subscription‑based SBITA items and payroll costs for summer teachers.
Ellis said she and Amy Muldoon completed an RFP for occupational therapy services and recommended Community Therapy Services; that contract was included in the consent agenda.
The board moved to approve the consent agenda as a block (items a–f: Pearson invoice for June 2025; minutes from June 12 and Aug. 21, 2025; executive session minutes to follow; and Occupational Therapy Contract — Community Therapy Services). The motion was moved by Grace Magley, seconded by Jerry Helsing, and passed unanimously. Ms. Ellis said Roselli, Clarke & Associates completed audit fieldwork and the FY25 audit will be presented to the board for approval on Dec. 4, 2025.
Separately, the board tabled approval of the superintendent’s goals so Lattuca could add a graduation‑rate goal and present the goals again at the next meeting. The board then entered an executive session to discuss strategy related to collective bargaining or litigation under M.G.L. c.30A, §21(a)(3) and returned to open session before adjourning at 12:48 p.m.
