Taunton High DECA aims for 300 members, $24,000 fundraising goal

The students reported last year's participation numbers: 155 district competitors, 45 state qualifiers and 13 national qualifiers. For 2025-26 the chapter set an ambition to reach 300 members and to raise $24,000 in fundraising, with $20,000 to be donated to the Muscular Dystrophy Association. The presentation highlighted expanded middle-school chapters and initiatives in leadership development, marketing, inclusivity and career preparation.
Committee members commended the presentation and the committee briefly recessed to take a photo with the students and advisors before returning to regular business.
