Huxley council approves Veenstra & Kimm agreements, accepts Anthem Plat 2

The Huxley City Council unanimously approved three development-related resolutions on Aug. 13 that authorize engineering review services and accept a final plat for a new Anthem subdivision.
Council passed Resolution No. 24-057 approving a professional services agreement with Veenstra & Kimm, Inc. to provide construction review for the Anthem Townhomes public improvements. The council then approved Resolution No. 24-058, an amendment to a professional services agreement with Veenstra & Kimm for construction review of the 120 South, LLC development. Finally, the council adopted Resolution No. 24-059 accepting the final plat, platted easements and an irrevocable letter of credit for Anthem Plat 2.
The motions were made and seconded on the consent/business portion of the agenda and recorded on roll call as Mulder, Echer, Roberts, Murphy and Rigler voting yes on each measure. Forrest Aldrich of engineering firm Veenstra & Kimm was present on the agenda and later reported that work on the city’s Water Treatment Plant is expected to be completed by the end of next month.
