The Iowa Falls Board of Education approved its consent agenda at a Nov. 11 regular meeting, accepting personnel resignations and ratifying vendor contracts and an interdistrict agreement.
The unanimous vote approved the resignations of Janet Tidman, high school assistant volleyball coach; Cassie Wray, high school Spanish teacher and adviser for winter cheer, the junior class and Student Council; and Christine Forry, RR associate. Board members moved and seconded the consent agenda and carried the motion 4-0.
The board also approved several contracts: Schumaker DJ Service for the RMS fall dance; Selective Sounds Entertainment for the homecoming pep rally sound system; a three-year photography agreement with Lifetouch; and a 28E agreement with Janesville CSD to accommodate a student dual-enrolled through the Home School Assistance Program (HSAP).
Board members noted the consent agenda included routine financial oversight: minutes from Oct. 14, the monthly warrants and PCard listing, and the district financial reports for October. The board did not record public comment on the consent items. The next regular meeting was adjourned later that evening at 6:46 p.m.
