Clerk Laura Cassidy-Hatchet reported to the board that the Village of Stone Park's time-capsule items for America 250! have been officially mailed. The package, she said, includes the Village flag, the related resolution, the Board meeting minutes, the official Village pin and a Christmas card containing signatures of elected officials.
Cassidy-Hatchet said the time capsule is scheduled to be opened July 4, 2076, in celebration of America's 300th anniversary. She thanked the Deputy Clerk for preparing and sending the package.
The announcement was presented as part of the Clerk's report and did not require board action.
