The board approved file JH (student absences and excuses) on first reading and first vote. A motion was made and seconded and a roll-call vote recorded unanimous approval by Mr. Alexander, Ms. Brady, Mr. Miley and Ms. Reeser.
The board then approved file JHB (truancy) on first reading and first vote by the same unanimous roll-call vote.
Earlier in the meeting, the consent agenda was presented with no items pulled for separate consideration; the board moved and seconded approval and adopted the consent agenda by unanimous roll-call vote.
The board also approved continued membership in the Colorado Association of School Boards (CASB) for the 2026–27 year; the membership renewal cost was stated as $14,674 and the motion passed unanimously.
