At its May 14 meeting the Warren Township Committee awarded the 2026 streets overlay contract to Carroccia Co. Contractors (CCM), the lowest responsible bidder, in an amount not to exceed $945,800.
The award was based on bid submissions for overlay and milling; the administration recommended the contract using a maximum tonnage and milling allowance to cap total expenditure. The superintendent of public works provided a prioritized list of streets to be overlaid, including Old Smalleytown Road, Glenview Road, Upper Warren Way, Sage Drive and others. The resolution requires the Superintendent of Public Works to provide a report on roads completed by Sept. 30, 2026.
The motion to award the contract passed by roll call; funds were certified by the chief financial officer and multiple accounts were identified to fund the project.
