Josephine County approves three timber-sale contracts to support forest revenue

Forester II Brian Bradac presented the proposed sales and stressed the continuing importance of timber revenue from county forest lands. Commissioner Colene M. Martin moved approval of each contract; Commissioner Gary L. Richardson seconded the motions. Each contract was approved by roll-call vote, 3-0.
Commissioners recorded general support for maintaining timber revenues; no amendments or conditions were attached during the workshop. Staff will proceed with contract finalization and sale administration under Forestry procedures.
