The Simsbury Senior Center highlighted upcoming spring programming at the Feb. 17 Aging & Disability Commission meeting.
Senior Center Coordinator Kathleen Marschall said the March/April newsletter was distributed and confirmed Souper Thursday is scheduled for March 12 with an inclement weather date of March 19. Marschall also listed Women’s History Month programs (Rosie the Riveter on March 29 and Amelia Earhart on March 31), an intergenerational concert and pizza event on March 26 featuring bands from Falcetti Music, and that AARP Tax‑Aide services are underway.
Library liaison Lisa Miceli noted library partnerships that intersect with Senior Center efforts, including a Human Library event on March 28 co‑sponsored with the DEI Council and a Sustainability Fair on May 2. Commissioners said Social Connections will be held May 3 at the Simsbury Library with LeBahn Patisserie and reviewed dates for Coffee with Commissioners.
