Students in the district CAPS program presented a landscaping plan and associated budget to the board during the Dec. 8 meeting.
Presenters CeCe Sweeney, Camden Fuelling and Aiden Gantz-Rogers described the scope of proposed site work and the estimated costs. After the presentation the board considered the project and, upon motion by Trumbauer and second by Miller, approved the students proceeding with the recommended budget of $22,932.50.
The motion carried by unanimous vote. The approval authorizes the CAPS team to move forward with purchases and implementation following district procurement policies and any applicable vendor agreements.
