The Bradley County Commission convened a regular voting session on Feb. 3, 2025, at the Bradley County Courthouse and approved routine business with unanimous votes.
Chairman Thomas L. Crye presided over the meeting. The body voted 13‑0 to approve the Jan. 21, 2025 meeting minutes after a motion by Commissioner Bobby Goins and a second by Commissioner Tim Mason. Commissioner Cindy Slater moved — and Commissioner Louie Alford seconded — approval of Mayor D. Gary Davis’s reappointments of Bill Winters and Josh Rogers to the Economic Development Council; that motion also passed 13‑0. Slater later moved approval of the consent agenda; Commissioner Howard Thompson seconded and the consent agenda was adopted by unanimous roll call.
The consent‑agenda attachments recorded as part of the meeting include multiple ‘‘Scrap and Surplus Property Disposal Authorization’’ forms for General Sessions, the Sheriff’s Office, Register of Deeds and Circuit Court; a Change of Vehicle Status form for a 2015 Ford Explorer (asset #15142) noted as being kept for parts pending salvage/title procedures; and a list of notaries public to be elected. The meeting record indicates the consent attachments are filed as meeting attachments.
Because the published voting‑session agenda listed no separate agenda items for a vote, the commission adjourned at 7:15 p.m. after completing those routine actions.
Meeting materials and the recorded roll‑call votes are part of the official minutes for Feb. 3, 2025.
