Jaffrey Planning Board finds MilliporeSigma parking-lot work in compliance

The decision followed a presentation by Lauren Swett of Woodard & Curran and a review by Planning Director Douglas Dumont. Swett submitted a post-construction compliance package and “as-built” plans documenting minor field adjustments, the retention of an existing stormwater swale that earlier plans showed for removal, added utility details and an updated stormwater management report. The approved plans had shown 382 parking spaces; 351 spaces were constructed.
The finding matters because it formally records that the work satisfies the conditions of PB 22-05 and produces stamped plans and a compliance application for the town record. Dumont told the board the application was sufficiently complete for decision. On a motion by John Brouder, seconded by Frank Sterling, the board voted 6-0 to find the project in compliance per the testimony and plans submitted.
The board’s motion cites the submitted plan set, including a September 2023 plan titled “Parking Lot Improvements,” prepared for MilliporeSigma in Jaffrey by Woodard & Curran and stamped by Lauren Jane Swett, P.E., and a post-construction compliance application with revised stormwater calculations dated Jan. 12, 2026. The record notes minor deviations from earlier plan iterations but no outstanding conditions preventing a compliance determination.
The board’s action will allow administrative closure of PB 22-05. The Planning Department will retain the stamped plans and the post-construction compliance report in the project file.
