Council Vice President Mark Stecak reported on Nov. 19 that the Street Department is conducting sewer televising and has discovered two fully collapsed lines. "To date they have found 2 fully collapsed lines," Stecak said; the borough is awaiting the engineer’s recommendations on how to proceed with repairs.
While the borough develops repair plans, council approved motions to advertise the sale of a 2000 bucket truck and a scissor lift used by the public works department; both sale advertisements were approved by recorded votes of 6–0 with one member absent.
Council did not provide cost estimates for repair work or immediate timelines for contractor selection in the minutes. The borough indicated the engineer's recommendations are pending; council will consider next steps once that report is available.
After the votes, council moved on to other agenda items.
