Board approves district bills; member abstains from family-linked sanitation payment

Board member Pepper Papineau moved to approve the bills with the exception of the Kopcho Sanitation bill so that Amie Kopcho could vote on the remaining bills; Brien Alley seconded and the motion passed on roll call. The board then voted to approve the Kopcho Sanitation bill; Amie Kopcho abstained from that vote because of a stated family connection.
The board also moved to excuse Alison North from the meeting; that motion, made by Pepper Papineau and seconded by Brien Alley, was approved by roll call. The board approved the Oct. 28, 2024 minutes earlier in the meeting. The transcript does not record dollar amounts for the bills or further discussion about the Kopcho Sanitation payment.
