The Connecticut Housing Finance Authority on June 26 voted unanimously to adopt the Low‑Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) Qualified Allocation Plan for 2026 and 2027.
Terry Nash Giovannucci, Community Engagement Officer, presented the Plan and noted that CHFA held a public hearing on June 12 and reviewed all public comments received during the comment period. The Board adopted the Plan by resolution and authorized the Chief Executive Officer – Executive Director to take actions consistent with the Code and the regulations thereunder to effectuate the adoption.
The resolution confirms CHFA’s role as the designated housing credit agency for allocation and administration of federal LIHTCs in Connecticut and frames the Plan’s adoption as consistent with applicable Internal Revenue Code requirements.
