The Greenburgh Planning Board on April 15 approved the amended site plan, wetland/watercourse permit and tree‑removal permit for Galvanize LLC, while imposing conditions requiring truck-turning documentation and payment for hydrant relocation.
Applicant counsel and project representatives said they revised the driveway and stormwater plan to accommodate tractor‑trailer access to the loading dock and requested up to 60 days to deliver detailed truck‑turning diagrams. Deputy Commissioner Schmidt and staff recommended the board condition any decision on submission of truck‑turning documentation to the satisfaction of the building inspector and the town’s traffic consultant, and to require that funds for relocation of a fire hydrant at the site entrance be provided prior to issuance of a building permit.
During the work session staff also noted the applicant will repair any damaged curbing at their expense. The board voted to classify the actions as Type II under SEQRA and to approve the amended site plan, the wetland/watercourse permit and the tree‑removal permit as amended, with the stated conditions (motions moved and seconded; votes recorded as affirmative in the transcript).
Applicant counsel said the team will provide the truck‑turning documentation and indicated the applicant is motivated to complete the submittal quickly to obtain a building permit. Board members requested that the applicant forward written confirmation of the neighboring property owner’s agreement to the encroachment/ easement shown on the plans.
