An Eagle Scout candidate and his father described the proposed sign, its angled placement and planned ground lighting, saying the applicant had discussed setbacks and placement with city staff and the planning commission. A council member reported planning commission expressed no concerns.
After public comment, council reconvened and adopted Resolution 2026‑09 approving the CUP amendment for the sign. Staff will coordinate final permit details and ensure placement conforms to applicable setbacks and safety requirements.
