The Hobart City Redevelopment Authority took several finance and contract actions at its March 16 meeting, adopting routine payments and contract adjustments the staff said are within project budgets.
Change Order 9 (Colorado tracking project): Staff (S3) described directional boring and utility‑related work needed after a service pole relocation. The change order amount was read in the record as $6,688.02; staff said even with this and a possible second change order the project remains about $64,000 under budget. The commission moved to approve Change Order 9 and passed the motion by voice vote.
Roundabout Payment Application: The commission approved Payment Application 1 for the roundabout project in the amount recorded in the meeting as $253,350, noting most work was complete with a small list of punch‑list items remaining.
Register of Claims and Invoices: Staff presented the register of claims totaling approximately $280,409.46 for RDC consideration (items included supplemental funding for prefilter station improvements, engineering support, and an ALTA survey follow‑up related to the Greenwood Center acquisition). The register was approved by the commission.
Bond Requisitions: The commission approved bond requisitions and related lease rental bond claims referenced by requisition numbers (76 and 77 in the record). Staff explained the requisitions represent the RDC’s share of ongoing projects; motions were made and approved by voice vote.
Minutes and routine items: The meeting also approved minutes from the Feb. 23 special meeting and accepted staff reports on pending parcel closings and development updates.
