Residents raise noise, missed pickups, speeding and emergency-service concerns at Southampton Township meeting

Lisa Foxhill of 93 Main St. reported multiple missed recycling pickups and was advised to contact Burlington County, which handles recycling collection. Resident Dave Miller thanked Administrator Brandon Umba for contacting the State Police about speeding after his earlier complaint; Umba said he will also reach out to County officials for updates.
Other speakers included Lou Buscio, who asked about reserving fields for flag football and was told to file a facilities-use form with the Clerk's Office; Halley Beam, who said she has appealed a zoning decision about a storage container and discussed the matter with Administrator Umba and Mayor Ronald Heston; Scott Mitchell of Vincent Fire Company, who reported that AFG grant funding combined with Township assistance replaced about 75% of the department's fire hose and noted the company visited Charles Oatman before his passing; and Suzy Costales, who reported ongoing meetings in Tabernacle about the Tabernacle Rescue Squad and expressed concern that Tabernacle Township might terminate the squad.
Administrator Umba and Mayor Heston acknowledged the comments and directed staff follow-up where applicable. The Committee did not take immediate formal action on the citizen complaints but recorded them for administrative follow-up.
