Board reviews several administrative items, refers rezoning and funding matters for further review and adjourns

The Harrison Township Board of Commissioners handled several administrative items at the Sept. 17 agenda meeting and deferred or referred multiple matters for later action.
Manager Amy Rockwell said Tresco Paving Corporation submitted Payment Application No. 1 Final and that the Township Engineer approved it "with no problems." Rockwell also noted that Zoning Officer Bill Huet submitted an application for a Special Purpose Parking Zone at 23 Linden Street, stating it met the ordinance conditions for consideration by the Board. Rockwell said the Township received three proposals in response to a Request for Proposals for Traffic Engineering Services and asked Board members to review them; she noted that NIRA does not provide those services. Chairman Gary Meanor reminded members that workshops for the 2025 budget need scheduling.
With no further business, Commissioner Eric Bengel moved to adjourn, Commissioner Jamie Nee seconded, and the Board adjourned at 6:30 p.m.; the motion carried with all in favor.
