Board reviews distribution of $53,603.05 in 2024 Foreign Fire Tax funds; Citizens Ambulance additional request to be considered

Manager Amy Rockwell reported that the Township will distribute the 2024 Foreign Fire Tax funds totaling $53,603.05 evenly among the township’s three fire departments and act as a pass-through for the state funds. The Board received the distribution information for review.
Commissioner Jamie Nee raised a separate issue discussed earlier in the year about providing additional distribution to Citizens Ambulance. Commissioner Eric Bengel requested that the board add the matter of additional funding for Citizens Ambulance to the upcoming Regular Meeting agenda so members can consider it formally.
No final appropriation or additional distribution vote occurred at the agenda meeting; the matter will be placed on the Regular Meeting agenda for possible action.
