The Calhoun County Board of Supervisors voted unanimously April 8 to approve a final pay request on bridge project BRS‑SWAP‑CO13(91)—FF‑13 and to authorize the chair to sign the Iowa Department of Transportation’s Five Year Budget and Program for Secondary Roads.
Calhoun/Sac County Engineer Nick Buse presented department updates and recommended approval of the final payment to Peterson Contractors. The board approved the payment on a motion by Vice Chairman Cory Ridgely, seconded by Member Scott Jacobs; all three supervisors voted aye.
Separately, the board approved a motion by Scott Jacobs, seconded by Cory Ridgely, authorizing Chairman Dave George to sign the county’s Iowa DOT five‑year secondary roads budget and program. The board recorded the vote as unanimous.
