At a recessed meeting on March 30, 2015, the Flowood Board of Aldermen awarded two construction contracts and authorized an engineering contract.
The Langford Area Water Improvements Project (Alternate 2) was awarded to Thornton Construction Co., Inc. for $716,455.00. The Lakeland Drive Utility Relocation contract was awarded to Myers Underground Utilities, LLC for $322,013.50. The board also authorized the mayor to enter a $25,000 engineering contract with Civil Link Engineering. Motions to award each contract were made and seconded as recorded in the minutes and each received unanimous approval.
