The Flowood Board of Aldermen approved a multi-item consent agenda at its March 2, 2015 meeting, clearing minutes, multiple claim dockets, a 36-month copier lease with RJ Young beginning May 1, 2015, and a $61,248 payment to Clyde C. Scott Insurance Agency for auto insurance covering March 1, 2015–March 1, 2016.
The consent agenda also included two memoranda of understanding authorizing the Flowood Police Department to seek reimbursement of joint operations expenses from the Treasury Forfeiture Fund: one with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement and one with the U.S. Secret Service. Those MOUs were listed and approved as part of the consent agenda.
The motion to approve the consent agenda was made by Alderman Kirk McDaniel and seconded by Alderman Kathy Smith; the minutes record unanimous approval "from all Board Members present." Following the consent vote, the board completed routine business and adjourned.
The approvals are recorded in the official minutes as routine, unanimous actions; no additional debate or amendments were recorded in the minutes.
