Alderman Don Flynt moved to approve the consent agenda; Alderman Kathy Smith seconded and the motion passed unanimously among board members present.

Alderman Kirk McDaniel moved to hire Jones at the recommended position and pay; Alderman Deron Harmon seconded the motion, and it received unanimous approval from the board members present.
Public Works Director Garry Miller reported that competitive bids had been received for drilling a test well as part of a water-department upgrade and presented a bid tabulation showing Thompson Brothers Drilling as the low bidder. Alderman Don Flynt moved to award the drilling contract to Thompson Brothers Drilling for $49,684.17; Alderman Dusty Rhoads seconded and the motion passed unanimously.
