Neil also said the division is hiring two part‑time engagement specialists to provide direct support to constituents experiencing or at risk of homelessness; the application window closes at 5 p.m. on June 26.
On staffing, the division promoted administrative specialist Yasmin Ody to administrative technician effective June 1 and added a part‑time administrative specialist, Titus Rivero.
Staff also reported that Rise Housing, on behalf of the city, is accepting pre‑applications for a below‑market‑rate homeownership lottery with three income tiers: very low income (50% AMI), low income (80% AMI) and moderate income (120% AMI); interested applicants were directed to the city’s housing web page for details.
The board did not take formal action on these items during the meeting; the staff asked members to note application deadlines and the upcoming city‑council action on the RFP.
