Supervisor Clarence Siepker moved to approve the work with Midwest Technology; Supervisor Brent Aden seconded and the motion carried with all supervisors voting aye.
The decision directs county staff to proceed with contracting; the Board discussed remaining ARPA balances and asked staff to obtain roofing inspections for the Courthouse and Annex to identify additional needs. The approval was recorded during the Board’s Nov. 19, 2024 regular session.
County officials did not provide a publicized total contract price in the meeting record; funding will come from ARPA allocations and follow‑up budgeting steps will be handled by county administration. The Board also asked the engineer and facilities staff to coordinate logistics so the work dovetails with any courthouse roof repairs.
