The Connecticut Housing Finance Authority Board on March 27 voted to engage Robinson & Cole LLP to provide legal services related to certain human resources matters and Authority operations.
The resolution notes the Authority follows the Act and its Procedures and that the firms referenced were appointed following an RFP process in November 2024. The Board adopted the special counsel engagement on a motion by Lisa Tepper Bates, seconded by Gregory Ugalde.
Earlier on the agenda, the Board approved a Consent Agenda by unanimous roll call (motion by Matthew Pugliese, seconded by Jorge Perez) that included the 2025 Series B Bond Issue (Multifamily), financial reports, production and delinquency reports, a monthly tracking report and the minutes from the February 27, 2025 meeting.
The Board also convened an executive session regarding the Chief Executive Officer–Executive Director Performance Review; the session began at 10:26 AM and ended at 11:30 AM. No public details from that executive session were released in the meeting minutes.
The meeting adjourned at 11:36 AM following a motion by Timothy Hodges and seconded by Gregory Ugalde.
