Marshall County Fiscal Court recognizes state-placing trap and archery teams

The archery team’s coach, Meghan Dowdy, told the court the archers finished ninth at state after qualifying in Lexington and described individual achievements for Stella and Jace, who have state and national placings.
Speakers emphasized the time and expense required for those programs and thanked community partners — including Kentucky Lake Outdoors — for practice space and financial support. The court offered congratulations and a photo opportunity; no formal county funding decisions for the teams were recorded in the meeting.
