The Cohasset Economic Development Authority heard a CEDA update on the city’s website redesign and outreach efforts at its Jan. 6 meeting.
CEDA reported that the new website is in progress and that staff have submitted photos, logos and branding materials. A discovery meeting with CivicPlus is scheduled for next Monday; the plan is to retain the core structure of the current site while adding a dedicated Economic Development tab to highlight the Industrial Park and the Blackwater Banks projects and add potential tourism content. CivicPlus will provide ADA compliance support, backend maintenance and technical assistance; staff will retain the ability to make in‑house updates.
Separately, the minutes note the city has recently established Facebook and Instagram pages following CEDA’s recommendation. Staff plan to work with Barb on a social media policy and to implement an archiving system to meet record‑keeping requirements.
