The Dennis Old Kings Highway Regional Historic District Commission approved a series of routine applications at its meeting, including exterior paint for 11 Martin Road, demolitions at 25 Horse Foot Path and 14 Judith Ann Road, additions and renovations at 30 Olivia Walker Way, 20 Susan Eldridge Way and 16 Mooncusser, and a rear‑roof solar installation at 240 Airline Road.
Attorney Joe Hannigan told the commission replacing two undersized, nonconforming dwellings at 25 Horse Foot Path with a single family residence would make the property more compatible with neighborhood character. “The replacement of these buildings with 1 single family residence will bring this into more of the historic character of the neighborhood,” he said; the board approved demolition and later approved the new dwelling after the applicant agreed to drop two front skylights.
Thomas Moore represented multiple applicants on the agenda and secured approval for several projects (the 43–49 South Street demolition, renovation projects and a new house at 14 Judith Ann Road). The commission also accepted an addition at 30 Olivia Walker Way with window grills as shown, and approved a Sunrun solar array and battery to be installed on the rear roof of 240 Airline Road.
Minutes for May 13 and June 10 were approved with recorded abstentions, and the commission adjourned at 7:21 p.m.
