The Loveland City Council adopted a proclamation recognizing Loveland Shorts Film Festival Weekend, scheduled for July 31–August 2.
Mayor Kathy Bailey read the proclamation that praised the festival’s role in showcasing independent filmmakers and enriching the city's cultural life. A festival representative identified in the meeting as Cynthia described the schedule and programming, including a $5 family-friendly Friday-morning block, a Saturday-night showcase, workshops, VIP tickets that include a morning coffee hour with filmmakers, and afterparties and awards on Sunday. "Get your tickets today and thank you so much for this. It means the world to us," Cynthia said.
Council added the proclamation to the agenda with no objection and thanked organizers for bringing the festival to the city. The proclamation encourages residents and visitors to participate and supports the festival as a community arts event.
