In light of feedback from recent listening sessions, the Committee discussed and approved two community communications: an amended message about the Sudbury Extended Day (SED) contract award process, and an amended notice outlining next steps in the interim superintendent negotiations and the full superintendent search. The Committee removed a proposed update on Sudbury Extended Day from the latter communication at a member’s request and approved the amended texts by 4‑0 roll call votes.
The Committee also recorded that documents related to the procurement communication (listed as "RE_ Procurement Process") would be included in the public meeting materials.
Next steps: the Committee will post the procurement‑process email and the approved community communications on the School Committee page and proceed with the administrative follow‑up identified in the communications.
