The Cass County Commission recorded a series of routine approvals and appointments at its June 17, 2026 meeting, and approved two resolutions affecting county operations.
The commission approved its meeting agenda as presented and approved the June 10, 2026 meeting minutes and the June 3 work session minutes, each by a 2-0 vote.
On appointments, the commission approved Resolution 2656 to reappoint Diana Larson to the Cass County Public Library Board of Trustees and Resolution 2657 to reappoint Robert Mayo to the Cass County Board of Equalization; both passed 2-0.
The commission also approved Resolution 2658, authorizing an agreement with Friends in the Business LLC to post delinquent-tax notices for the county’s 2026 annual tax sale (the contract includes yard signs, photographs and timestamped geodata), and Resolution 2659, a Public Health Emergency Preparedness contract amendment with the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services that extends the five-year block contract into its second year and raises the tangible property threshold to $5,000. Both resolutions passed 2-0.
No public comments were received during the open podium. The commission moved into executive session under RSMO 610.021.1 for legal matters at the end of the public meeting.
