Trustees approve agenda change, accept reports and vote to enter executive session
Summary
During the June 25 special session trustees voted to reorder the agenda, accepted the treasurer and investment officer reports, and then voted unanimously to enter executive session to discuss trade secrets, financial, legal and personnel matters.
At the June 25 special meeting the Board of Trustees unanimously approved a motion to reorder the agenda so administrative and committee reports would be heard after the board returned from executive session.
Trustee Tyman Clark moved the agenda change, Trustee Andre Dorsey seconded, and the board approved the motion by roll call. Later in the meeting trustees accepted both the treasurer's report and the investment officer's report by roll‑call votes.
Chairman Callwood then described the reasons for closing the next portion of the meeting, saying the session would be closed for "matters pertaining to trade secrets or financial information or personal or legal matters or matters whose premature disclosure will frustrate the implementation of the proposed agency action." Trustee Andre Dorsey moved to enter executive session and Trustee Tyman Clark seconded; the board voted five yes to enter the closed session and recessed for two minutes before resuming in executive session.
