North Butler board approves agenda, minutes, personnel changes, fundraiser and $6,129 roof repair

The North Butler Community School District Board of Education unanimously approved a slate of routine motions at its Jan. 12 regular meeting in the Greene Media Center.
The board, led by President Ty Crawford‑Miller, first approved the meeting agenda and accepted the December 2025 meeting minutes. The board also approved the December 2025 financial reports and the January 2026 bill listing.
On personnel, the board approved resignations and substitute appointments. The minutes list resignations for Mike Ball (junior high football) and Susan Brackett (instrumental music) and recorded the appointment of substitutes Emily Edeker and Dylan Edeker. The motion to approve personnel actions was moved by Dan Engles and seconded by Jordan Nolz and carried unanimously.
The board set the public hearing on the 2026‑27 school calendar for Feb. 9, 2026 at 6:00 p.m. in the Allison Media Center; the motion was moved by Sara Henrichs and seconded by Dan Engles and carried unanimously.
The board approved a fundraiser request from the Dance Team and authorized repairs to the elementary roof control panel at a cost of $6,129 to be paid to Trane. The roof control panel repair motion was moved by Heather Shook and seconded by Jordan Nolz and carried unanimously. The board adjourned at 6:43 p.m.
The next regular board meeting is scheduled for Feb. 9, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. in Allison.
