Jeanie Doore, the town clerk and treasurer, led a financial review that covered the current checkbook balance, upcoming payroll and warrant obligations, anticipated cash‑outs and the school budget hearing schedule.
Members also revisited a longer‑term discussion about changing the town fiscal year to align with the school and state cycle. The Board agreed such a change would require planning, public notice and strengthened oversight of general‑fund use before any formal action.
