The Chief noted Judge Shep Gardner asked to swear in his son, whom staff and the Chief referred to as "Shep the third." The transcript records the names provided above but also shows an inconsistent spelling when Judge Gardner's name appears; the personnel list in the agenda and staff remarks identifies "Shepard A. Garner III" as one of the appointees.
